How to Care for Vinyl Wrap & Decals on Your Vehicle

Hey there, vehicle graphics enthusiasts!

If you want to keep your ride looking slick and stylin', follow these tips for cleaning and maintaining your vinyl wraps.

★ First and foremost, wash your car regularly to keep it looking fresh. We suggest using a non-abrasive detergent and a micro-fiber cloth or soft sponge to gently scrub away any dirt and grime. And while we know you love to show off your shine, steer clear of wax and other coatings that could harm your graphics.

★ If you're feeling lazy and want to hit up the automated car wash, go for it! Just make sure it's a touchless one to avoid any damage to your graphics. But if you're a real go-getter and want to pressure wash your vehicle, keep the water pressure below 2,000 psi and water temperature below 180°F. And be sure to use a spray nozzle with a 40° wide angle pattern, while spraying perpendicular to the graphic from at least a 3 foot distance.

★ Now, we know accidents happen. So if you spill any fuel or contaminants on your vinyl wraps, wipe them off immediately and clean the surface to avoid any damage to the vinyl and adhesive. And if you find any pesky bugs, bird droppings or other contaminants, soak them first before trying to scrub them away.

And finally, if you want to be a real superstar when it comes to protecting your vinyl wraps, park your ride indoors or under cover. It's the ultimate way to keep your graphics looking fresh and flawless for the long haul.
